Based on the 1969 novel of the same name written by Sam Greenlee, It focuses on the militancy, in the Black community, arising from the disillusionment of the Civil Rights Movement.
With a soundtrack by Herbie Hancock; directed by Ivan Dixon, co-produced Sam Greenlee and Dixon, from a screenplay, written by Mel Clay and Sam Greenlee, the film starred Lawrence Cook, Paula Kelly, Janet League, J. A. Preston, and David Lemieux, it is a must watch film, especially during the 2015 climate of renewed struggle.
Synopsis: A Black man plays "Uncle Tom" in order to gain access to CIA training, then uses that knowledge to plot a new American Revolution.
